Californ-HUH??

Thus begins another adventure of epic proportions for me. And another blog. In two weeks, I will be flying out Chula Vista, California to intern at the Olympic Training Center. This is very exciting/nerve-wracking, but I am really looking forward to working under the Olympic rings again.

But what is California?? Psh, like I know. I was born in the North, grew up in the Midwest and attend college in the South. What is this Cal-EE-for-nia spoken of?? It's all over the radio, Movies, and TV screens. It's the land of sunsets, starlets, and Seaworld (OH BABY!!). Apparently everyone who's anyone lives in this utopia of the modern world.

I was also told that Hell resides in California and my soul will be eaten if I stay too long.

My last, and only, California experience was less than stellar. That's a lie, IT WAS AWFUL. I won't delve into details (you can all read about my previous exploits here) but I vowed never to return to that horrible state. God has an great sense of humor.

So I am going back. I don't know exactly what to expect, but they wouldn't call it an adventure if everything was planned out. My biggest prayer right now is that I will adjust to this new lifestyle quickly and be happy. That, and my soul would be spared from Satan.
